Hummingbird Food & Nectar Products
Due to the perishable nature of our hummingbird food and nectar products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on these items under normal circumstances. However, we stand behind the quality of our products.
Exceptions — When We Will Provide a Refund or Replacement
We will gladly provide a full refund or replacement if:
- Your product arrives damaged or leaking
- The product is defective or contaminated
- You receive the wrong item
- The product is past its expiration date upon arrival
How to Request a Refund for Damaged or Defective Products
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at support@thebirdkeeper.com
- Include your order number and photos of the damaged or defective product
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days
Non-Food Items (Feeders, Accessories, etc.)
Non-perishable items such as hummingbird feeders, accessories, and other supplies are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt. To initiate a return, please contact us at support@thebirdkeeper.com with your order number.
Return Shipping
For non-food item returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or was shipped in error, in which case The Bird Keeper will provide a prepaid return label.
Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
